Earlier in the year, I became fed-up with the Firefox rapid release schedule and started using Google Chrome as my “default” browser. I’m all for updates and keeping up with the latest crap but, when updates break the tools you regularly use (I’m talking Firefox Add-ons here), then this level of updating becomes frustrating.
Firefox is a great platform by itself. Part of what makes Firefox so great, is the quality and quantity of add-ons available, helping to make this great browser better. To my knowledge, there is no browser in existence that has more extendability available than on the Mozilla platform. So, swinging back to my earlier point, I’m returning to making Firefox my default browser of Choice.
Is this news? Hell no! Just a tech wonk wrenching on his new WordPress site.
